Daughter helps mom finish race (includes video story)

Earlier this month, a 10-year-old daughter swooped in to help her mother finish the Revel Big Cottonwood Marathon in Utah.

Courtney Rich was psyched to run her second 26.2 mile race.

“It was pretty special,” said 10-year-old Avery.” I wanted to see my mom finish strong.”

Mother and daughter finished together after a tough stretch.
