Design Mix took place July 14, and brought both manufacturers and designers to create unique fashion pieces. Unconventional materials, such as flooring, lighting and more, are used to make clothing in the show.
Models dressed in 1950s and 1960s attire to fit the “Americana” theme, and Christina Joy Chambers’ Star Trek-inspired dress won fan-favorite.
“It was actually pretty frightening for me cause this is really outside of my comfort zone,” said Chambers. “But at the same time, it was fun to do something for my team.”
