Five people wounded at a homecoming event at Morgan State University (includes video story)

Five people including four students were shot but not severely injured last night at Morgan State University in Maryland.

The shooter opened fire during a homecoming event on campus and has not yet been taken into custody.

The investigation centered on a shattered window in a dorm. The area was closed off overnight, but officers gave the all-clear this morning.

Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott called for action.

“When will the sanctity of American lives and the sanctity of American college students… outweigh the sanctity of American guns,” said Scott.

Morgan State canceled classes on Wednesday as the administration evaluates all future homecoming activities for the rest of the week.
