Get ready to be blown away, South Florida! Hollywood Hot Glass is bringing the art of glass-blowing to you. Located in Hollywood’s Young Circle Park, the studio consists of an open-air space where glass sculptures ranging from soap dispensers to flowers are made in interactive classes and workshops. There is also a gallery where the glass artists showcase their work.
The studio was founded in 2013 by Brenna Baker and five years later forged a partnership with Celebrity Cruise Line. According to Christina Caron, the director of operations, the studio has been open since September and due to the pandemic, that has been paused during the pandemic, but both sides hope to continue as soon as the ships start sailing again.
However, workshops are still being held, but with safety precautions added.
“We are honestly, right now, super busy,” said Caron. “We were booked solid for the holidays and Valentine’s Day. People are looking for something safe and fun to do, which is what the classes are.”
