In order to ensure the safety of both visitors and residents, the City of Miami Beach set up guidelines to vacation responsibly during this Memorial Day weekend.
The Miami Beach Police Department have enacted an Alpha/Bravo mobilization plan, meaning all officers have been working on-and-off 12-hour shifts throughout the weekend.
Authorities say they will not tolerate drugs, open alcohol containers and loud music. Officials created traffic loops to guide commuters at night that had been in effect until Sunday, and COVID-19 safety measures and guidelines have been enforced.
