The U.S. is hoping for a better relationship with China following the highly anticipated meeting between President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The two leaders of the largest economies met for roughly four hours to discuss several topics in San Francisco yesterday.

“He and I agreed that either one of us could pick up the phone, call directly and be heard immediately,” President Joe Biden stated.
