Over the holiday weekend, South Florida celebrated the Fourth of July at Smorgasburg Miami’s annual giant summer cookout. The community gathered on Saturday and Sunday for a day of delicious bites and treats, featuring more than 20 outdoor food vendors.
“The community is really dope, you get so many different types of vendors and it’s all ‘Miamians’ – with people who really come from this place and kind of try to put their own twist,” said Ruben Ojeda, a guest vendor.
Besides mouth-watering food, the cookout brought families and friends together for a fun and memorable time. The community was able to enjoy live music, carnival games sponsored by Doordash and more.
“We had some really good lemonade, and walking around seeing a variety of the food and vendors has been cool,” said Erin Guiltinan, an attendee.
