Getting around in Miami can be challenging. People are looking for alternatives to cars and public transit. The most populous county in the state, Miami-Dade, is becoming increasingly bike-friendly and other communities are following. 

Here is our selection of the best bicycle shops to embark on your adventures.

For the little ones, City Bikes has you covered. There are helmets and pads to save juniors from themselves. The shop sells apparel and educates parents on how to have fun while staying safe. They’re open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

Hidden near the helmet shelf is a small room dedicated to bike fitting. There you can interact with a specialist to address your specific needs. The prices for bikes range from $250 to $12,000, but you might be able to strike a deal.

Any style of bike you desire is available at JB. By the wall, you can look for electric, generic and mountain bikes that best suit your preference. Regular models cost $4,000 and off-road ones go for $2,500. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day except Sundays. 

The staff at JB is attentive to all your needs. After hearing detailed explanations of every item at the shop, you will walk out a cycle master.

It’s a hot spot to find deals on electric and regular bikes. The prices are $300 and up depending on which model you’re buying. They also sell luxury ones if you’re looking to up your cycling game.
