The ultimate guide to the 2024 Caribbean Series

The 66th edition of the Caribbean Series is set to kick off at LoanDepot Park this Thursday, Feb. 1. This is the first time since 1991 that the region’s premier baseball tournament will be held outside of the Caribbean and the first time it will be played in a Major League stadium. Games will be played through Feb 9.

Here is everything you need to know.

Who’s playing?

Each country will be represented by the champion of its winter league. Playing this year are Dominican Republic (Tigres Del Licey), Venezuela (Tiburones de La Guaira), Puerto Rico (Criollos de Caguas), Mexico (Naranjeros de Hermosillo), Panama (Federales de Chiriquí), Curacao (Curaçao Suns) and Nicaragua (Gigantes de Rivas). Tigres Del Licey won last year’s tournament in Venezuela.

What’s the schedule?

The tournament begins with round-robin matchups; three games per day will be played Feb. 1- Feb. 7. Then the top four teams will face off in semifinals Feb. 8 before the third-place game and the final on Feb. 9. The full schedule is below.

How can I watch?

Single game tickets are still available for purchase through the Marlins ticket website (https://www.mlb.com/marlins/ballpark/events/caribbean-series-2024). In addition, team packs that allow purchasers to get a ticket to all games for a specific team are still available for every team.

If you can’t make it to LoanDepot Park, all of the games will be shown on ESPN+ and ESPN Deportes.

How do I get there?

Traffic is expected to be heavy for the event. The park will open garages in specific order depending on the time of the games.

  • 10:30 a.m. First Pitch:

    • Open garages: First Base Garage & Center Field Garage
    • Open time: 8:30 a.m.
    • Rate: $20 per vehicle

  • 3:30 p.m. First Pitch:

    • Open garages: Home Plate Garage & Third Base Garage
    • Open time: 1:30 p.m.
    • Rate: $30 per vehicle

  • 8:30 p.m. First Pitch:

    • Open garages: All garages & surface lots
    • Open time: 6:30 p.m. 
    • Rate: $35 per vehicle

  • Daily rate: $75

February 8 – February 9

  • 3:00 p.m.: All garages and surface lots (open at 1:00 PM)

    • Open garages: All garages & surface lots
    • Open time: 1:00 p.m.

Valet parking is also available at the Home Plate Garage at a rate of $45 per game, and must be purchased ahead of time.

Rideshare

For those looking to avoid driving in traffic, a rideshare lot (East Lot 1) will be made available for most games. However, for the following games, Uber and Lyft will be geofenced for pick-up to the corner of NW 14th Ave. & W Flagler St.

Brightline

Brightline will also be providing complimentary shuttles to and from the ballpark for select games. Tickets can be purchased on gobrightline.com.

February 8 & February 9

  • 3:00 p.m. Games: trains arriving into MiamiCentral Station at 1:15 p.m. & 2:20 p.m.
  • 8:00 p.m. Games: trains arriving into MiamiCentral Station at 6:20 p.m. & 7:15 p.m.

Complimentary shuttles depart MiamiCentral Station for loanDepot park 10 minutes after each designated train arrival. Complimentary shuttles will not be available for 10:30 a.m. games. Guests can take a Brightline + Uber ride for the morning game.
