President Biden arrived in Washington D.C. after the historic summit in Geneva where he spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin for roughly three and a half hours.
The meeting was described as constructive and positive since they agreed to send the ambassadors from both Russia and the United States back to their diplomatic posts and discussed controversial issues.
Also, Putin denied any role in the recent ransomware attacks and the jailing concerns of his political opponents while President Biden continued to press him on multiple fronts like human rights.
The President said they will know in three to six months if the agreements will actually go into force — but he appeared visibly upset when asked if the summit would lead to real diplomacy from Russia.
