Fort Myers police confirmed Monday morning that five teens were found dead in a car submerged in a retention pond near Topgolf.
According to authorities, the teenagers died when their vehicle drove into a lake Sunday night.
A Texas Roadhouse Snapchat post identified the co-workers as Amanda Ferguson, Eric Paul, Breanna Coleman and Jackson Eyre. It did not list the fifth person.
“They have grown up with us,” said Alan Hansen, market partner for nine Texas Roadhouse locations in Florida. “They recently graduated high school with us, just a huge part of our family and a chunk of our hearts missing.”
