Messi leads Inter Miami to another win (includes video story)

Lionel Messi led Inter Miami to a 4-0 victory over Atlanta United Tuesday night in match day two of the Leagues Cup. Messi scored twice and assisted one goal. 

“We’re just kind of watching and experiencing Messi,” said Adam Korn, a fan. “It is beyond what we could’ve possibly imagined.” 

Inter Miami’s Robert Taylor logged identical statistics to Messi, with two goals scored and one assist.

Inter Miami is the only team in the Leagues Cup to win both their games in the group stage of the tournament.

The team’s next regular game with be at the DRV PNK Stadium on August 20 against Charlotte FC.
