A church in Weston offers help to the community (includes video story)

Earlier this month, St. Katharine Drexel Church supported by the We Love Foundation.

This event aimed to provide vital food assistance to about 200 families including immigrants, refugees and local residents facing food insecurity. They offered various items such as fried rice, chicken, snacks, proteins, fruits, carbs, breads and groceries.

The community came together to support those in need. This food drive, supported by the We Love Foundation, occurs at St. Katharine Drexel Church in Weston every two Saturdays.

The church is located in Weston at 2501 South Post Rd.

Ana Paula Mayorga is a senior majoring in Communications, Broadcast Media and minoring in Business Marketing. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, socializing, and meeting new people. Her goal after graduation is to work as a TV host for Spanish-language channels like Telemundo and Univision.
