Last night Shakira released her first album in seven years, “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” (“Women don’t cry anymore”) Supporters and fans gathered for a listening party at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood.
The album officially dropped at 12:01 a.m. and includes new songs, a remix and previously released singles.
Shakira says her fans have been patient… waiting for her to hold up her end of the conversation.
“I don’t think that I only sing for them and they listen,” said Shakira “I think that they also speak to me.”
