Sideline, Season 2, Episode 1

Sideline kicks off its first show of fall 2023 by covering a week that included the return of Dolphins’ football, a big win for the U, Inter Miami without Messi, and a basque game of pelota.

The Hurricanes played a revenge game against the more highly rated Texas A&M Aggies in a rainy-day thriller. Reporter Pablo Hernandez watched the dramatic contest at a cloudy Hard Rock Stadium.

After an offensive explosion from Dolphins’ quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and wide receiver Tyreek Hill, the team won its first game of the season over the Los Angeles Chargers. Tagovailoa decisively won the battle over his nemesis Justin Herbert.

Team USA finished a lowly fourth without its biggest stars in the FIBA World Cup, but Heat 2022 first round pick Nikola Jovic started for the Silver Medal winning Serbian team. Germany took the title.

Inter Miami kept its playoff hopes alive despite the notable absence of the game’s biggest star, Lionel Messi.

The Marlins are on the cusp of regaining a wild card spot.

Finally the world’s fastest game, jai-alai, is back in the Magic City. This past Friday, Udonis Haslem’s Rebote Renegades took on the defending champions – Lifestyle Miami Chargers.
